Before I Go

Adam, a disinclined rock star and Mia, and professional cellist have met again after three long year. Three years after a terrible accident. After Mia's family dying in a car crash, and her almost dying herself, Mia struggled for her life in the hospital. After recovery Mia then got accepted into a college in New York, but Adam decided to stay behind in Oregon. After agree to do a long distance relationship, Mia cut Adam off of all communication completely.
Adam broke into deep depression, and that's how his band hit record came out. Adam is also in a relationship with the famous Bryn. The problem with them is, they never really see each other, but when are together they are constantly fighting. Bryn is always confronting Adam with questions or arguments about Mia. Saying stuff like, "why don't you go go back to your ghost, I'm tired of competing with her...".
Adam usually has his bottle of pills with him at all times, he suffers with anxiety. He constantly has to take his pills when hes feeling pressured or anger, he really just takes it for anything, during interviews, talks, etc. When Adam and Mia meet again three years later at one of Mia's concerts they end up going out for dinner, a walk, and even her secret places. During this time I see that Adam hasn't reached for his pills not once.
Adam says himself that he feels safe, and secure with Mia. Later in the book Adam breaks up with his current girlfriend Bryn for Mia. Mia helps Adam with his anger, helps him quit smoking and so much more. Life for famous couples are hard but they think they can get threw it.

Emma, a teenager from 1996, has just gotten a new Windows 95 desktop computer. When Emma’s former best friend/ neighbor, Josh, comes over for a visit and gives Emma and new AOL software, she is befuddled when a strange site named Facebook pops up, and even more confused when she find out she is a member of this website she has never heard of nor been invented yet and, the fact that this page is her life 15 years from now! After a few hours on the site she has found pages for Josh, and other friends, and that it’s filled with unexpected marriages, deaths, pregnancies, etc. Emma and Josh soon discover that they can change their futures by changing little things now. Every time they log in to Facebook they see that everything changes by the little actions they are doing now.
Josh gets his message that he grows up to be marry the most popular girl in school, but Emma’s future is not all that great. She finds that she grows up to be in an unhappy marriage with a man named, Jordan Jones Jr., and by her status update, “Hit my sixth month of unemployment. They say it’s the economy, but I’m starting to believe it’s me.” You can see that she is unhappy in her department of work too.
Teenage Emma tries very hard to change her future, while teenage Josh is trying hard to keep his. After Emma and Josh trying hard to change/ keep/ help their future lives, they’ve realized to just live in present day, rather than obsess over future.
